Team Member Hobbing & IH

Job Purpose: To operate and manage Hobbing and Induction Hardening (IH) processes efficiently, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Operate Hobbing and Induction Hardening machines as per production plan Ensure adherence to quality standards and process parameters Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities Maintain production output as per daily targets Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of machines Ensure minimum rejection and rework through process control Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain proper production records and reports Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams for smooth operations Key Skills & Requirements: Experience in Hobbing and Induction Hardening processes Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and shop-floor practices Knowledge of quality control and inspection standards Familiarity with TPM / Lean practices is preferred Ability to troubleshoot minor machine/process issues Good teamwork and communication skills Education: ITI / Diploma / Relevant Technical Qualification Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Production output OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Rejection / Scrap % Machine utilization Adherence to safety standards
