Insurance Broker

Due to continued success and subsequent growth, an opportunity has arisen to join an MFSA-licensed Insurance Broker based in Malta. As an Insurance Broker , you will be presented with ample opportunities for professional growth in a friendly, professional environment. The role is office-based and may involve client visits, with a basic salary of up to €40K + performance-based incentives. Role & Responsibilities Handle the account of a large client, as their in-house broker, for a variety of their commercial lines of business Provide excellent first-line support to client Communication and coordination with brokers, and global and local insurers related to the client Prepare, review and submit insurance documentation such as quotes, competitor comparison, drafting of policies Calculate rates for invoices and credit notes related to the insurance programs Claims administration and processing to the highest standards, in a timely manner KYB incl collection, review and submission of periodic insurance-related documents Up-to-date record-keeping of documentation required at all points Education, Skills & Experience CII qualified to ACII or DIP CII levels, or University Degree in Insurance & Risk Management, or currently studying towards such qualification Excellent communication skills in English, both over the phone, in person, and in writing Fluent communication skills in German, written and spoken (strong preference) 5+ years’ experience in general insurance broking Experience in the following lines of business: P&C, liability, marine cargo would be an asset Strong understanding of local and global insurance principles Computer literacy incl MS Office Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levels Excellent negotiation and networking skills, easy to build rapport Highly analytical, with strong numerical & organizational skills About this role Salary up to €40K plus KPI-related incentives Full time office based in Sliema, Malta with standard office-hours Monday-Friday Private Medical Insurance Excellent opportunity for career progression Apply with your detailed CV in English. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
