Senior Finance Project Manager

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, or any other non-IT based project. Responsibilities Coordinate projects end to end by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of required activities for Finance stakeholders and their customers. Structure, lead, and execute complex finance projects and programs, collaborating effectively with other cross-functional teams globally. Own, define, and maintain appropriate project documentation to ensure transparency, clarity of objectives, and consistent alignment of project deliverables. Proactively manage risk by anticipating potential issues and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to meet timelines, budget, and objectives; work proactively with the business to resolve critical issues. Ensure underlying processes are fit for purpose by identifying changes needed to support project objectives and leading process mapping, documentation, and update requirements. Identify change impact, incorporate readiness and adoption requirements, communications, and plans within project plans; oversee change deliverables and, where larger change impact exists, collaborate closely with designated Change SMEs on best practices and execution of deliverables. Maintain effective communication channels, status updates, and communication plans. Qualifications Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time. PMP, PMI, PMI-CPM, AI Program Management, PROSCI, or similar qualifications. Understanding of Finance business functions and ability to support the execution strategies of assigned Finance functions.
