Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Saint Louis, Missouri Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,485.41 Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital setting in Saint Louis, MO. The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients across multiple specialty units. This role focuses on improving mobility, restoring function, and supporting patient recovery through individualized therapy interventions. The therapist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to provide safe and effective treatment across a variety of inpatient units. Facility Information Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 285 Charting System: EPIC Scrub Color: Pewter Parking: Free Clinical Coverage Areas Therapists may treat patients across several hospital units including: ICU Step-down units Medical/Surgical floors Oncology Neurology / Telemetry Orthopedic units Therapists will provide daily therapy treatments (QD treatments) across these departments. Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training Assist patients with gait training, transfers, and mobility progression Utilize assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment when needed Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EPIC system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience BLS Certification (AHA) Active Missouri Physical Therapist License or Compact License EPIC charting experience required First-time travelers are accepted . Preferred Experience Acute hospital therapy experience ICU or Medical-Surgical unit experience Emergency department or critical care exposure Scheduling & Assignment Details 40 hours guaranteed per week Occasional weekend coverage required No on-call duties Important Notes Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted Therapists will work across multiple inpatient units but will not float outside their scope of practice Compliance Requirements Candidates must complete facility compliance requirements including: Valid SSN and date of birth at submission Requested Time Off (RTO) submitted with profile Clinical skills checklist Pre-assignment lab testing within 48–72 hours of contract signing Orientation modules: Billable up to 16 hours ($20/hr) Must be completed prior to assignment start date Why Consider This Assignment Competitive weekly compensation Experience working in a large acute care hospital Exposure to diverse inpatient clinical cases Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment
