Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Vandalia, Illinois Contract Duration: 12 Weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 15, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,423.62 Schedule: Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient rehabilitation setting in Vandalia, IL. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic injuries and other mobility-related conditions, helping them restore strength, flexibility, and functional independence. The therapist will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to create individualized treatment plans and ensure effective patient recovery. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training Implement neuromuscular re-education and gait training techniques Apply physical therapy modalities and manual therapy techniques Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records Assist with clinic operations and support staff or student training when necessary Patient Population Patients treated may include individuals recovering from: Orthopedic injuries Post-operative rehabilitation Sports-related injuries Musculoskeletal disorders Mobility and functional impairments Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience Outpatient orthopedic experience required Active Illinois Physical Therapist License BLS Certification (AHA) Scheduling & Assignment Details 40-hour weekly guarantee No on-call duties No weekend work required Important Notes Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility Candidates must include their permanent address in their profile Submission Requirements Candidates must provide the following at the time of submission: Updated work history Skills checklist (within the last year) Two supervisory references with employment dates Active Illinois Physical Therapist License Active AHA BLS certification Why Consider This Assignment Competitive weekly compensation Stable outpatient schedule with guaranteed hours No weekends or on-call responsibilities Opportunity to work with a supportive rehabilitation team
