$55–$70/hr The Opportunity You'll shape the next generation of nurses by teaching obstetrics and gynecology at the collegiate level. This faculty position puts you at the center of student development — from classroom instruction to hands-on clinical supervision. Your Day-to-Day Plan and deliver instruction using adult learning principles across theory and clinical settings Supervise and evaluate student clinical experiences, providing immediate feedback on performance Collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams and contribute to final course evaluations Track and submit class attendance, grades, and student records including skills check-offs Select clinical assignments that align with student learning outcomes and facility requirements Verify that clinical sites meet all health and safety standards Plan and conduct orientation for new faculty in both theory and clinical instruction Use and adopt online tools to enhance course content and interactive teaching methods Assist with strategic planning, assessment of instructional initiatives, and program data collection Submit required program reports and forms on time Maintain regular availability for students through office hours, email, and advising Participate in program-supporting committees and attend faculty meetings Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations relevant to nursing education What We're Looking For Valid, active Registered Nurse license issued by the State Board Master's degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, administration, OB, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry At least 4 years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse At least 1 year of clinical experience within the last 5 years (clinical teaching counts toward direct patient care) Clinical competency per CCR Section 1420(c) Expertise in Pediatrics or OB-GYN Ready to Apply?
