Competitive Strategy Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Competitive Strategy Analyst to support business growth by providing deep insights into market dynamics, competitor activity, and industry trends. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, identifying strategic opportunities, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, excellent research skills, and the ability to translate complex market data into actionable strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of competitors, market trends, and industry developments. Develop competitive intelligence reports that provide insights into competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing, and market positioning. Monitor emerging industry trends and identify potential opportunities or risks for the organization. Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven market insights and recommendations. Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and executive teams to align competitive insights with business strategy. Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership. Maintain internal competitive intelligence databases and knowledge resources. Assist with scenario analysis, forecasting, and strategic modeling initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, business strategy, or consulting. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information. Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present strategic insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in technology, SaaS, financial services, or consulting environments. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Knowledge of strategic frameworks such as SWOT analysis, Porters Five Forces, and market segmentation analysis. Experience supporting executive-level strategic decision-making. Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary: $90,000 – $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
