Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain server, network, and industrial control systems (ICS) infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance for 24/7 manufacturing operations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and operational technology (OT) systems used in production environments. Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and critical production systems. Develop, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for all critical IT and OT systems to minimize production downtime. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across IT and OT environments, ensuring compliance with company policies. Collaborate with production teams and external vendors for the integration, maintenance, and upgrade of specialized manufacturing software and hardware. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V). Experience supporting manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA) and understanding of OT/IT integration. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and manage backup/disaster recovery solutions. Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for system automation and efficiency improvements. Bonus Qualifications Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) systems like SCADA, MES, or PLCs. Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365). Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity principles and industrial control system (ICS) security. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to manufacturing (e.g., GxP, FDA, ISO).
