Key Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify conformance. Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed inspection records. Identify and isolate defective products, communicating findings to production and quality management. Interpret and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective actions. Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule and procedures. Recommended Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection standards. Strong attention to detail, observational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer literacy for data entry, record-keeping, and report generation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced metrology equipment, such as CMMs, vision systems, or laser scanners. ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Technician - CQT). Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
