Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs. Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and systems. Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and improve accuracy. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to ensure efficient material flow. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Strong analytical and data interpretation skills for forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization. In-depth understanding of inventory control principles, warehouse operations, and lean manufacturing methodologies. Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and develop inventory teams and processes. Bonus Qualifications Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel modeling). APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) or robotics in a manufacturing environment.
