Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements. Lead APQP and PPAP activities for new product introduction and changes. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology) for quality issues. Conduct internal, process, and product audits, and support external IATF and customer audits. Develop, maintain, and approve quality documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA) for process monitoring and improvement. Manage supplier quality performance, including SCARs and supplier development initiatives. Recommended Qualifications Expertise in IATF 16949 standard and its practical application within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for root cause analysis and corrective actions. Experience conducting internal and external quality system, process, and product audits. Strong analytical and statistical skills for process control, data interpretation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
