Location: New York, NY (Flatiron – Manhattan) Hybrid / Client Facing Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 base Start Date: April 2026 Overview Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery during the build phase of digital transformation initiatives. This role is highly client-facing and focused on execution — ensuring projects stay on track, stakeholders remain aligned, and deliverables move forward efficiently. The Project Manager will initially support a single client engagement, with the potential to take on additional projects over time depending on workload. This is not a purely administrative role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable driving accountability across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery during the build phase of digital and software projects Track timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across workstreams Coordinate closely with clients, product owners, developers, and internal stakeholders Drive accountability and proactively follow up to remove blockers Help triage issues and bugs before escalating to development teams Maintain structure and momentum in environments where clients may lack organization Support agile delivery practices and cross-functional collaboration What We're Looking For 3 to 4 years of relevant Project Management experience Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT, digital, software, or transformation environments Strong client-facing presence with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycle and agile methodologies Technical literacy (ability to understand and navigate technical discussions without being hands-on) Experience working across product, engineering, and business stakeholders Ideal Background Experience in digital/product delivery or consulting environments Exposure to multi-stakeholder client engagements Ability to operate independently while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders What Success Looks Like Keeps projects on track despite complexity or client-side disorganization Builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams Proactively identifies risks and resolves blockers Maintains delivery momentum and ensures accountability across stakeholders
