X-Ray Technician

Title: X-Ray Technician Status: Full-Time Location: North Adams, MA Relocation: Not Specified Salary: $34.22 - $49.50 Bonus: Not specified Visa Support: Not available Join a well-established medical center in scenic Western Massachusetts as an X-Ray Technician. This role offers a stable weekday schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with rotating holidays and is part of a unionized team. You'll be surrounded by nature, access to hiking trails, arts and culture, and a lower cost of living compared to urban hubs. About the Role: You'll perform a variety of radiologic procedures requiring strong clinical judgment and technical expertise. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, and PACS systems, maintaining confidentiality, practicing infection control, and supporting departmental operations. You may be given supervisory or training responsibilities, as designated by leadership. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures independently and accurately. Utilize PACS, HIS, and RIS systems proficiently. Adhere to all hospital and OSHA guidelines for infection control and safety. Contribute to quality control and performance improvement initiatives. Support and mentor other team members as needed. Required Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program. Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT). Valid Massachusetts Radiologic License. Current CPR certification. Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must attend all mandatory education programs and maintain certifications.
