Senior Mechanical Engineer(EATS muffler or UDS)

The Exhaust After treatment Systems (EATS) team is looking for a collaborative and motivated Design Engineer who wants to take an active role in shaping the future of our aftertreatment technology. If you have experience from EATS muffler or UDS development and enjoy working in a technical environment where your ideas and expertise make a real difference,this could be the right opportunity for you. In this position, you will be directly involved in the development of next generation EATS solutions, with a particular focus on muffler design, verification, and system performance. Experience with CAD tools and KOLA is preferred, along with a strong understanding of how to design and verify components operating in warm and vibrating environments. Your contribution will be essential as you work closely with teams across the client and with our suppliers to ensure robust, reliable, and future proof designs. You will take part in designing new concepts, planning and performing tests, and analyzing results to secure high quality solutions that meet both performance and emission requirements. The role offers a chance to follow your designs through different development stages, from requirement setting to evaluation and documentation, in an environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are part of everyday work. As a valued member of our cross functional teams—including component owners, engine test engineers, and project leaders—you will take responsibility for driving the development of EATS components, supported by the wider EATS team and our suppliers.
