Job Title: Structural Engineering Intern Location: Iyana-Ipaja (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Construction / Engineering Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in the design, analysis, and execution of construction projects. This role provides hands-on experience in structural engineering practices, site operations, and technical documentation within a dynamic construction environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of structural designs, drawings, and calculations. Support engineers in analyzing structures to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with design specifications. Participate in site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans. Help prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Collaborate with project teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct research and provide technical support on materials, methods, and engineering solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 0–2 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Engineering role role. Completion of NYSC is mandatory. Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design principles. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, or similar tools is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
