Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Highlands, North Carolina Hospital / Rehab Services 13-Week Assignment Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Package Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a rehab-focused hospital in Highlands, NC . This role offers a diverse caseload across acute care, swing bed, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings , working within a highly collaborative rehab team. Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy across multiple settings (acute, SNF, outpatient) Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP team on patient care and discharge planning Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary rounds Document care using Cerner and NetHealth systems Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery Requirements Active North Carolina PT License CPR Certification (Required) Minimum 3 years of medical/hospital experience preferred Experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings REQUIRED Strong communication and team collaboration skills Assignment Details 40 hours per week Floating required between rehab settings Patient ratio: 1:1 care Facility includes: 24 acute/swing beds 40 nursing home beds (5-star facility) 10 skilled beds Access to multiple rehab gyms + outdoor therapy space (expanding) Why This Assignment Rehab-focused hospital with strong interdisciplinary support Collaborative and supportive team culture Unique mix of inpatient, SNF, and outpatient experience Scenic mountain location with strong community feel
