A summer internship to gain practical experience for starting a career or pursuing a master's degree with an Insight into real municipal water projects and modern technologies; including: Exposure to the UK water sector Hands on experience on customers wastewater treatment works Collaboration in a collegial, interdisciplinary team Opportunity to take responsibility for your own work packages What you'll be doing: Leading specific work packages as part of our product standardisation programme Working closely with commissioning engineers to commission and trouble shoot technical issues on our pile cloth media filters for tertiary filtration. Preparing technical documentation for internal use and for customers Conducting research and making recommendations to colleagues Processing and evaluation of analytical data Attending meetings with colleagues. Who we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in environmental engineering, natural sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, or related fields Basic knowledge of water chemistry, process engineering, or laboratory analysis Structured and careful working method Technical understanding and willingness to learn Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Customer-oriented demeanour Fluency in English is essential Must be able to qualify for the right to work in UK in accordance with UK government immigration rules.
