$82,000–$105,000 annually | Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus The Opportunity You'll perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures across hospital and physician office settings, working with advanced imaging technology to deliver high-quality patient care. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine, you'll contribute to a full-service nuclear medicine program that serves patients from neonates through geriatrics. This role combines clinical excellence with the opportunity to work independently in both fixed and mobile settings. Why You'll Love This Role Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous paid time off and holidays Tuition assistance and continuing education support Retirement plan with employer contribution Employee wellness and assistance programs Opportunities for advancement and cross-training Work in the scenic Finger Lakes region , close to Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake, and the Corning Glass Museum Affordable housing and small-town charm, only 2 hours to Rochester or Syracuse Surrounded by top schools and colleges, including Cornell and Ithaca Your Day-to-Day Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine & Nuclear Cardiology Perform diagnostic procedures with precision and accuracy Review physician orders for appropriateness and prepare patients accordingly Administer radiopharmaceuticals and insert IV catheters as required Acquire and process images using gamma cameras, PACS, and nuclear medicine management systems Conduct quality control testing on imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical and clinical issues Radiopharmaceutical Preparation & Management Order, prepare, and calculate radiopharmaceutical doses Manage Tc99m kits and bulk supplies while ensuring quality control and sterile technique compliance Oversee ordering, receiving, distributing, and storage of radioactive materials and waste in accordance with departmental, hospital, and New York State regulations Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Coordinate with referring offices and radiologists for therapy planning Ensure all pre-testing and documentation is complete before procedures Administer therapeutic doses safely while following radiation safety precautions Mobile Nuclear Cardiology Travel to physician offices across NY and PA using a mobile gamma camera system Safely transport, set up, and operate equipment in varied environments Work independently alongside physicians, nurses, and patients in outpatient settings Patient Care & Education Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care throughout all procedures Maintain patient safety and comfort while delivering friendly, professional, and attentive service Participate in accreditation activities and departmental policy compliance Maintain continuing education credits and attend annual training programs What We're Looking For Current certification or eligibility for certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT Eligibility for New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure Formal 2- or 4-year degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (preferred) Valid driver's license and insurability BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire) One year of experience preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered Ready to Apply?
