Security Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to support the installation, maintenance, programming, and service of access control and CCTV systems. This hands-on role involves ensuring high-quality security system deployment while maintaining strong safety, service, and customer satisfaction standards. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and service security systems including access control and CCTV. Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and ensure proper implementation. Develop and execute work plans for installation and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security systems. Follow safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Assist with project documentation, time tracking, and reporting. Perform site evaluations and functional testing of installed systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate updates to project stakeholders. Support project teams throughout the installation and service lifecycle. Qualifications 5–7 years of hands-on experience with security system installation, programming, and service. Experience working with access control and CCTV systems. Relevant technical education or certifications in electronics or security systems preferred. Certifications in platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, or Avigilon are a strong plus. Data center experience is highly preferred. Ability to manage technical workflow and installation tasks effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable performing physical installation and maintenance work on job sites.
