About the role Golden Racket Academy is hiring a Private Pickleball Coach in Scottsdale, Arizona to deliver 1-on-1 and small-group pickleball lessons at local courts and client-preferred locations in and around Scottsdale. We serve premium clients who care about coaching quality, clear communication, and a consistent experience. You bring the coaching and leadership on court. We handle operations and client flow. What you'll do Coach private and small-group pickleball lessons (beginner through advanced) Improve technique and performance in: dinking, third shot drops, volleys, serve/return mechanics, court positioning, and match strategy Create simple lesson plans tailored to each client's goals Communicate clearly with clients about lesson logistics (location, time, expectations) Show up on time, prepared, and ready to run a high-quality session What we're looking for (must have) 2+ years of pickleball coaching experience Strong fundamentals and the ability to teach technique simply Professional, punctual, and comfortable working independently Reliable transportation for local travel in the Scottsdale area Comfortable coaching adults, seniors, and juniors Able to pass a background check (required for client trust) Nice to have (not required) CPR certification or coaching credentials (upload if you have them, e.g., PPR, IPTPA) Tournament, competitive play, or league coaching background Ability to bring extra paddles and balls for beginners Pay and structure $35–$60/hr, based on experience and coaching level This is a contractor coaching role (1099) Flexible scheduling based on client demand and your availability We move quickly for strong candidates.
