POSITION OVERVIEW ELB Learning is seeking a senior-level Deal Support Commercial Contracts Manager to help move customer transactions from commercial alignment through to signed contracts. This role is best suited for a highly experienced, hands-on contracts professional who has supported B2B sales teams on the sell-side and understands how enterprise deals get done. You’ll play a key role in bringing structure to the contracting process, reducing friction, and helping deals move efficiently to signature . You will guide the contracting process across ELB’s SaaS, professional services, and hybrid transactions by: Preparing and tailoring contract documentation using ELB’s legal-approved templates and playbooks Coordinating internal stakeholders and keeping deals on track Identifying gaps or risks early and preventing delays Supporting Sales in navigating customer paper, procurement steps, and approvals This is not a lawyer role and not a passive contract admin position. It requires someone who can own the flow of deals, push things forward, and confidently engage stakeholders , while still working within an established legal structure. The right person knows where deals tend to break down, can push back when needed (especially with Sales) , and brings a practical, solutions-oriented mindset to getting contracts across the finish line. Location: USA, Remote Engagement Type: Full-time CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Deal Management & Contract Coordination Own deals from initial contracting request through execution Treat each deal as a project with clear next steps, dependencies, and timelines Keep deals moving by proactively following up and driving alignment across teams Identify and address blockers early (e.g., unclear scope, missing inputs, procurement issues, nonstandard terms) Bring structure and consistency to a process that currently has gaps Contract Preparation & Redlining Support Prepare and tailor contracts using approved templates (MSAs, SOWs, order forms, amendments, etc.) Assemble complete contract packages (DPAs, security exhibits, AI terms, etc.) Review and respond to customer redlines using approved positions and fallback language Escalate non-standard or higher-risk items to Legal with clear context Ensure all documents reflect current templates and agreed practices Sales Support & Commercial Guidance Partner closely with Sales to move deals from alignment to signature Help Sales understand what’s needed upfront to avoid delays Push back on incomplete or unclear inputs when necessary Guide teams toward practical, workable paths to close Procurement & Internal Coordination Manage customer procurement requirements and onboarding steps Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Security, and other teams as needed Maintain clear visibility into deal status, open items, and next steps Process Improvement & Operational Support Identify recurring friction points and help improve workflows Support Legal in filtering out lower-risk contracts and reducing noise Contribute to improving templates, playbooks, and overall contracting efficiency REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Significant experience supporting sell-side commercial contracting (SaaS, tech, or services preferred) Strong background working alongside Legal or within a contracts function Proven ability to manage deals end-to-end and keep them moving to signature Comfortable reviewing and responding to contract redlines Strong judgment on what to handle independently vs escalate Ability to identify issues early and drive resolution across stakeholders Confident communicator who can push back when needed while maintaining strong working relationships Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail PREFERRED BACKGROUND Experience in SaaS, technology, or professional services environments Experience with MSAs, SOWs, order forms, renewals, and supporting documents Experience working in lean legal teams where independent ownership is required SUCCESS METRICS Contracts move efficiently from request to signature Reduced back-and-forth and fewer last-minute escalations Improved alignment between Sales and Legal Legal team has more capacity to focus on higher-risk work Contracts reflect practical, business-aligned terms WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR A senior, steady, and experienced contracts professional who enjoys getting deals done Someone who is direct, practical, and easy to work with , not overly polished or performative A strong operator who can balance collaboration with assertiveness Someone comfortable working within an existing structure while helping improve it over time Why Join ELB Learning In a world where automation, robotics, and AI are transforming industries, the pressure to upskill, reskill, and future-proof your workforce has never been greater.
