Client Accountant

Our client, a professional services firm providing accounting, advisory, tax, and audit services to local and international clients, is seeking a motivated Client Accountant to join its growing Accountancy team. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of professionals responsible for preparing financial statements and supporting the delivery of accounting and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio. Key Responsibilities Prepare, maintain, update, and finalise accounting records and financial data. Process technical and non-technical information within accounting systems. Prepare and submit VAT returns and personal tax returns . Prepare management accounts and trial balances . Maintain and reconcile cash books and accounting journals. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports. Liaise with relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities where required. Work collaboratively within the accounting team to complete assignments accurately and within deadlines. Requirements ACCA qualification, University degree in Accounting, or currently pursuing such qualification. Previous experience within an accounting team will be considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese . Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
