Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost reduction initiatives. Develop, monitor, and report on operational budgets and financial forecasts for production plants and departments. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, material usage, and labor costs. Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and facility improvements. Analyze inventory valuations, turns, and obsolescence, identifying opportunities for optimization. Partner with operations management to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities. Provide financial support for product costing and pricing strategies based on manufacturing costs. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data extraction and reporting. Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
