The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Portage seeking Financial Analysts who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning specific to production. Prepare detailed financial reports and KPIs tracking plant performance, efficiency, and profitability. Conduct in-depth analysis of capital expenditure projects, evaluating ROI and financial viability for new equipment or expansions. Monitor inventory valuation, obsolescence, and working capital efficiency related to raw materials and finished goods. Support product costing and pricing strategies by providing accurate cost data and margin analysis. Collaborate with operations teams to understand production drivers and implement financial controls and process improvements. Recommended Qualifications Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices specific to manufacturing environments. Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction. Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to operational stakeholders. Understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain dynamics, and their financial impact. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CFA designation a plus.
