The Role Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons Supporting practical lessons with a strong focus on safety and scientific understanding Developing confident classroom routines and positive behaviour management Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback Working closely with experienced colleagues within the Science department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to qualify as an ECT A degree in Biology or a closely related subject The ability to teach Biology confidently across KS3 and KS4 A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning Willingness to take feedback on board and develop professionally Good organisation skills and a professional teaching style School Information This independent school in Reading is known for its supportive leadership, strong academic standards, and excellent pastoral care.
