Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and validate CMM inspection routines using CAD models and engineering drawings. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product validations. Analyze measurement data, interpret results, and generate detailed inspection reports. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize CMM programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to define measurement strategies and resolve dimensional issues. Select and configure appropriate CMM probes, fixtures, and measurement methodologies for various part geometries. Maintain CMM calibration records and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment readiness. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation and application. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications. Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques. Experience with various CMM equipment and probe systems.
