Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications. Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate inspection reports. Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming materials and finished goods. Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment. Ensure compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and work instructions. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Understanding of quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA). Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Strong data collection and basic statistical analysis skills. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Internal auditor experience for ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills.
