Plant Manager | Muskegon, MI Salary Range: $140,000 - $191,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for leading manufacturing operations and driving plant performance? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Plant Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Manage plant budgets, control expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and company policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational excellence. Manage maintenance and reliability programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of plant equipment. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, develop budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and environmental compliance.
