Key Responsibilities Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to define precise measurement strategies. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate comprehensive inspection reports. Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs, probes, and measurement setups to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and improve part quality. Maintain CMM equipment, including routine calibration and preventative maintenance. Analyze measurement data to identify trends, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications. Experience with CMM operation, setup, and fixture design. Knowledge of metrology principles and quality control standards in manufacturing.
