Key Responsibilities Perform calibration and verification of measurement instruments and equipment. Conduct precise dimensional measurements of components, products, and tooling. Analyze measurement data and generate detailed reports, identifying deviations from specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve measurement discrepancies and equipment malfunctions. Develop and maintain calibration schedules and documentation for all measurement tools. Ensure all measurement activities comply with industry standards, quality systems, and internal procedures. Assist in the selection, setup, and validation of new metrology equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in operating and programming precision measurement equipment (e.g., CMMs, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators). Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Demonstrated understanding of calibration processes, measurement uncertainty, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ISO 9001). Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a metrology or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Solid analytical skills for data collection, basic statistical analysis, and report generation. Technical degree or certification in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related engineering discipline.
