Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analyses for management. Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and process improvements. Reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accurate valuation in the general ledger. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost of goods sold and inventory. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. In-depth knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O). Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel (Power Query/Pivot). SQL querying skills for data extraction and analysis.
