Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and maintain PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, control, and automation system failures. Design and implement new control systems and upgrades to improve process efficiency and reliability. Integrate new automation machinery and robotic systems into existing production lines. Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, control narratives, and technical documentation. Perform commissioning, start-up, and optimization of automated manufacturing processes. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel on control systems. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet). Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system issues. Experience with industrial robotics, motion control, or machine vision systems. Knowledge of machine safety standards and implementation of safety control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and design control panels. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB). Proficiency in industrial vision systems setup and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Experience with database integration (e.g., SQL) and data historians for manufacturing data analysis. Familiarity with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for custom automation tools or data applications.
