Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control procedures. Analyze production costs, efficiencies, and profitability, providing actionable insights to operations. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. Develop and implement financial strategies to improve operational performance and cost reduction. Provide financial leadership and support to the plant management team. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, and forecasting for manufacturing operations. Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices. Bonus Qualifications Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience. Advanced proficiency with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analytics and dashboard development. Experience with M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration. Proven track record in optimizing inventory management and supply chain finance processes.
