Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Direct all cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate financial policies. Analyze financial data to provide insights and support operational decision-making. Manage cash flow, working capital, and fixed asset accounting. Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting principles, and inventory valuation specific to manufacturing operations. Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred. Bonus Qualifications Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies to financial processes. Proven involvement in successful ERP system implementations or significant upgrades within a manufacturing context. Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for operational and financial reporting. Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and integration activities.
