Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment. Design, integrate, and test industrial control systems, including robotics and vision systems. Troubleshoot and debug complex automated machinery and control system failures. Create and maintain electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system documentation. Implement and ensure compliance with safety standards for automated equipment and processes. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on control systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing control systems and manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon) and ladder logic. Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and implementation (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, WinCC). Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP). Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup of automated manufacturing equipment. Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts. Bonus Qualifications Experience with SQL databases, data historians, and reporting tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis or custom application development. Hands-on experience with industrial robotics, machine vision, or advanced motion control systems. Familiarity with industrial network architecture and OT cybersecurity principles.
