Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code. Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to optimize production. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or production issues. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC milling and/or turning machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Ability to perform minor G-code and M-code program edits and offsets. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM). Experience with advanced metrology and inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators). Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
