Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs. Perform in-process and final quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines. Adjust machine parameters (e.g., feed rates, speeds, tool offsets) to optimize production. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and various material properties. Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks). Experience operating and programming multiple CNC machine types or control systems. Familiarity with CMM or other advanced metrology equipment. Experience with fixture design and building.
