Manage cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and COGS reconciliation. Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts for manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control procedures. Manage inventory valuation, obsolescence reserves, and cycle count programs. Analyze manufacturing performance, identify trends, and provide strategic financial recommendations. Coordinate external audits and ensure accurate tax reporting for the plant. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis. Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide strategic insights and drive operational efficiency. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced ERP modules specific to manufacturing (e.g., production costing, inventory management). Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for financial insights. Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Exposure to international consolidations and foreign currency risk management.
