Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to produce parts. Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Load and unload materials and parts, ensuring proper fixturing and tooling. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms or production issues. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control. Ability to perform G-code and M-code editing for machine adjustments and optimization. Strong understanding of tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and various material properties.
