The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Cadillac region seeking CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code. Perform quality inspections on finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and tooling. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines. Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms or issues during production. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and M-code. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and material properties. Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot common machining issues.
