Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. Process payroll for all manufacturing employees, ensuring accurate tax withholdings and deductions. Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries and classifying financial transactions. Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and prepare basic financial statements. Track and reconcile inventory valuations for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Monitor fixed assets and manage associated depreciation schedules for manufacturing equipment. Recommended Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP B1) and ERP systems. Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and job costing. Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Bonus Qualifications Experience with inventory costing and reconciliation in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Understanding of basic cost accounting principles specific to production. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
