Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. Program, configure, and troubleshoot control systems including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and motion control. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated production lines. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve processes. Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, programming logic, and operational procedures. Research, evaluate, and integrate new automation technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering. Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and configuring PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMIs. Experience with industrial robotics, motion control systems, or machine vision. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and SCADA systems. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues in a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick) for quality inspection or guidance. Familiarity with IIoT platforms and data integration from OT to IT systems (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA, cloud platforms). Knowledge of specific industry compliance standards (e.g., GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISA-95). Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI) for process optimization and reporting.
