Key Responsibilities Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for new and existing production lines. Develop and integrate robotic applications, vision systems, and motion control solutions to enhance manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Lead the commissioning and validation of new automated equipment and software, ensuring compliance with specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software code, and operational procedures. Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators on automation systems. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and machine vision systems. Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition. Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced robotics applications (e.g., collaborative robots, vision-guided systems). Proficiency in machine vision system integration and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Familiarity with industrial data analytics platforms or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration. Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and OT network security.
