Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure quality. Load, unload, and adjust tools and workpieces as required. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine or program issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Working knowledge of G-code and M-code for program adjustments and minor edits. Strong understanding of various machining materials, tooling, and their applications. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in G-code programming and editing at the machine control. Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for toolpath generation. Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
