The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations. Manage payroll processing for all employees, including production staff. Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries accurately. Assist with inventory valuation and cost of goods sold tracking. Generate basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet). Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Track and reconcile fixed assets, including manufacturing equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of GAAP, inventory valuation, cost accounting principles, and COGS. Expertise in managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger reconciliation. Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and support month-end/year-end close processes. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
