Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications. Program and configure industrial robots, vision systems, and motion control devices for manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with automated equipment and control systems. Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation hardware and software. Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the integration and commissioning of new automated machinery. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on automation systems. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and debugging PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA systems. Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB), motion control, and vision systems. Solid understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, motor controls, and process instrumentation. Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize complex automation equipment in a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration. Proficiency in SQL databases and data historian platforms (e.g., OSIsoft PI, AspenTech InfoPlus.21). Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
