Temporary Staff Accountant (3–6 Month Contract) Seattle, WA (Onsite / Hybrid) Seattle Search Group is partnering with a well-established, multi-entity organization in the Seattle area seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to support the finance team during a system implementation. This contract role is expected to last approximately 3–6 months and will play a key part in maintaining reporting accuracy and operational continuity during an IFS ERP transition. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will support month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while assisting the team through the ERP implementation process. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and complete balance sheet account reconciliations Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes Build and refine financial reports to support leadership decision-making Support ERP implementation efforts, including data validation and system testing Assist with variance analysis and reporting Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls Provide ad hoc support to the Controller and accounting leadership Preferred Experience 3+ years of accounting experience Strong reconciliation and reporting experience Experience supporting ERP implementations (IFS experience highly preferred but not required) Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) Power BI experience strongly preferred Exposure to investment portfolio accounting is a plus but not required Ideal Profile Detail-oriented and deadline-driven Comfortable working through system transitions Able to operate independently while supporting a broader team Strong communication skills This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional looking to contribute during a high-impact transition period.
