Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds. Analyze tooling performance, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions. Manage the full lifecycle of tooling, including procurement, maintenance, repair, and replacement. Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications and production requirements. Troubleshoot tooling-related issues on the production floor to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. Ensure all tooling complies with safety standards, quality specifications, and industry regulations. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for tooling designs, specifications, and maintenance procedures. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, or maintenance. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) for tooling design. Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling materials, heat treatment, and GD&T. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
