Operate a variety of machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production tooling and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair complex tooling issues to minimize downtime. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to meet specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tool longevity and performance. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating a wide range of manual and CNC machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs). Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs) for quality control. Demonstrated problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing complex tooling issues.
