By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for. Key Responsibilities Design, fabricate, and assemble precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Perform complex machining operations using manual and CNC equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM). Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot existing production tooling to ensure optimal performance. Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to guide tool fabrication. Conduct thorough quality inspections of finished tools and components to ensure accuracy and functionality. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify tooling improvements and solutions. Operate and maintain a variety of machine shop equipment and precision measuring instruments. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Tool Maker or in a precision machining role. Proficiency in operating a wide range of manual and CNC machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs). Expertise in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, GD&T, and using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges). Strong understanding of material properties, heat treatment processes, and tool design principles. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam). Experience operating and/or programming CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment. Demonstrated experience with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) processes (wire or sinker). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
